Position Summary

Breitner Architecture is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in architecture and a strong understanding of healthcare facilities. In this role, you will oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination from concept to completion. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients and consultants, managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and client management.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree or additional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on healthcare facilities and/or architectural project management.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project), as well as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of healthcare facility codes, ADA standards, and building regulations; familiarity with FGI Guidelines is highly advantageous.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with a detail-oriented approach; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • Problem-Solving: Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions to keep projects on track.

  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop project work plans, schedules, and milestones, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.

  • Client Management: Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring a high level of communication and responsiveness to client needs, expectations, and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, including architects, consultants, and contractors, to maintain clear communication and project alignment.

  • Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and resources, making adjustments as needed to stay within approved budgets and timelines.

  • Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify potential issues and risks, implementing solutions to maintain project quality and mitigate challenges.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Oversee the production of design and construction documents, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements, healthcare guidelines (including FGI Guidelines), and Breitner Architecture’s quality standards.

  • Construction Administration: Coordinate construction administration efforts, including managing submittals, RFIs, and change orders; conduct site visits to ensure project alignment with design intent and quality standards.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to refining and improving project management processes and tools, helping to enhance overall project efficiency and team collaboration.
