Position Summary
Breitner Architecture is seeking a motivated and creative Junior Project Architect to join our team. This role involves supporting the design, documentation, and coordination of healthcare and general medical facilities, contributing to the seamless delivery of projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and detail-oriented team player passionate about architectural design with an interest in healthcare architecture.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in architectural design and project documentation, ideally with exposure to healthcare or medical facilities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; 3D modeling experience is a plus.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of building codes, standards, and healthcare design guidelines (knowledge of FGI Guidelines is advantageous).
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work.
Professional Development: Eagerness to pursue licensure, with participation in AXP (Architectural Experience Program) encouraged.
Design & Documentation: Assist in developing design concepts, construction documents, and detailed drawings using industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD).
Project Coordination: Support project schedules, collaborate with consultants, and assist in coordinating project teams to meet milestones.
Research & Analysis: Participate in researching design solutions, materials, and technologies relevant to healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with local and national codes.
Presentation Development: Create presentation materials for client meetings, utilizing graphics, diagrams, and renderings to communicate design concepts.
Construction Administration: Assist in site visits and construction observation, including reviewing submittals, field reports, and RFIs to ensure the project adheres to design intent.
Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and adherence to Breitner Architecture’s standards across all project documents and phases.
