Position Summary
Breitner Architecture is seeking a motivated Architectural Intern to support our team in various aspects of healthcare design. This internship is an excellent opportunity for an emerging architect to gain hands-on experience in design, documentation, and project coordination while learning about the unique aspects of healthcare architecture. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications
Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited architecture or interior design program or a recent graduate with a degree in architecture or a related field.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Rhino) is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Interest in Healthcare Design: Curiosity and enthusiasm for healthcare architecture and a desire to learn about designing for specialized environments.
Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
Design Support: Assist in the development of design concepts, contributing creative ideas and supporting the design team’s vision.
Documentation: Help prepare construction documents, drawings, and diagrams using software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
Research & Analysis: Conduct research on materials, finishes, and products, focusing on their suitability for healthcare environments.
Presentation Preparation: Assist in creating presentation materials, including renderings, diagrams, and visual aids for client meetings and internal reviews.
Site Visits: Participate in occasional site visits and construction observation to gain exposure to the construction process and ensure adherence to design intent.
Administrative Support: Provide support in various project-related tasks, such as organizing project files, coordinating schedules, and managing documentation.
Learning & Development: Engage actively in learning opportunities, including mentorship from senior team members and exposure to various phases of architectural projects.
